Congress news: This summer Mitocardia researchers have been invited to give talks and data presentations regarding progress and advances at prestigious international meetings

This month, Paolo Bernardi will be talking at 36th Annual Conference of the North American Section of ISHR (International Society for Heart Research), in New Orleans, USA giving the lecture "Mitochondrial Permeability Transition-Molecular Makeup and Therapeutic Target" .

 

Valentina Giorgio  will be giving a lecture on "Calcium Binding to F-ATP Synthase β Subunit Triggers the Mitochondrial Permeability Transition" at the Gordon Research Conference "Bioenergetics", in Andover NH

 

Michela Carraro will be attending the meeting "Cell Death and Disease", at Villa Vigoni, Como  in Italy, giving the talk "Between Life and Death: A Dual Function for F-ATP Synthase" 

 

While in July Michela Carraro will give the lecture "Structural Requirements for Channel Formation and Modulation of Yeast F-ATP Synthase at the Gordon Research Conference "Organellar Ion Channels", in West Dover.

 

In August Paolo Bernardi will be presenting at the ESC (European Society of Cardiology) Meeting in Barcelona Spain, in the session "Boosting mitochondria to better the heart", where he will give the lecture "Calcium and regulation of the mitochondrial permeability transition".
